Our People Make It Possible: PoloWorks Certified a Great Place to Work® Again

PoloWorks is proud to announce that we have been officially Great Place to Work® Certified for the second year in a row.  

This recognition, awarded by Great Place to Work® – the global authority on workplace culture – is based entirely on confidential feedback from our colleagues and a rigorous assessment of how we operate. Earning back-to-back certification not only validates our continued commitment to a people-first culture but also highlights the ongoing investment we make in delivering an exceptional employee experience. 

For us, this achievement is a testament to the strength of our shared PRIDE values where being Pioneering, Responsible, Inclusive, Delivery-focused, and Empowering underpins everything we do.

Achieving Great Place to Work® Certification means a significant majority of our colleagues feel PoloWorks is a truly great place to work. For our leadership, the accolade is more than just a trophy, it represents the success of a high-trust, inclusive culture that enables people to do their best work.

Backing Our People to Grow and Thrive 

Supporting our people to grow and thrive is at the heart of who we are. We offer hybrid working, flexitime, and a benefits package that includes private medical insurance, income protection, wellbeing support, CII study sponsorship, and newly refurbished office spaces designed for collaboration and flexibility. 

In 2025, we proudly launched our first apprenticeship programmes, opening up new routes into formal development. Since January, 11 colleagues have begun apprenticeships in areas such as Marketing, Compliance, and Insurance – further strengthening our commitment to future talent. 

Our internal development initiative, Step Up to Management, has also recently completed its second cohort. The programme supports aspiring leaders across the business, equipping them with practical skills, confidence and mentoring to take the next step in their careers. 

As Sam Taylor, Deputy Controller, shared: “I’ve been with PoloWorks for nearly 4 years and the support I have received along the way has been a big part of why I’ve stayed and progressed. From day one, I’ve been encouraged to grow – whether that’s through on-the-job experience, mentoring, or development programmes like Step Up to Management. Sam’s experience only further reflects our broader commitment to developing talent from within, creating clear pathways for growth and supporting colleagues at every stage of their careers.
